I have lived in Emmbrook with my husband and 3 children since 1986. My husband was born in Wokingham town and we are now the 4th generation living here. I have been a Wokingham Borough Councillor since May 2003 and was honoured to serve as Mayor for two years. I have also represented Emmbrook on Wokingham Town Council and served for 17 years including two as Town Mayor.
Many will already know Phil as a town councillor and for the work he has done and continues doing at that level. Having being involved in many local campaigns to improve life in Norreys Ward and across the Town, Phil wants to become a Borough Councillor to be able to make a real difference for residents.
Jackie has lived in the Borough since the Eighties. She runs a well-established, cleaning business employing a team of 30 local cleaners and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and at her Millworth Lane allotment.
I have lived here in Wescott Ward since the age of 9 and was educated at Westende & St. Crispin’s schools. I work in the finance industry and advise a range of national & international companies on their need to raise longer term finance.
I will be a strong voice for the people of Winnersh and have already started working closely with a number of residents, the council and other stakeholders on issues such as flooding, HMO’s and antisocial behaviour. This is what drives me - an insatiable ambition to improve people’s quality of life and to serve the community.
