Fraser McFarland - Campaign & Office Manager

Fraser was appointed Office Manager in September 2015, previous to joining Wokingham, Fraser worked for the Conservative Party in Suffolk (Suffolk Coastal), Wiltshire (Chippenham), Surrey (Reigate) and Nottinghamshire (Sherwood and Mansfield).

Fraser first joined the Conservative Party in 2007, before standing for Nottinghamshire County Council in 2009 in Mansfield, he stood in a by election in February 2009 for Mansfield District Council before being appointed Agent for the General Election campaign in Mansfield. Despite limited resources and time, Fraser was able to reduce the Labour notional majority from 12k to 6k.

In May 2011, Fraser ran was Agent for the Mayoral and District Council elections in Mansfield, fielding the most Conservative candidates in over a decade. He was also involved with the No2AV campaign and helped defeat the Lib Dem proposal to change the voting system for Parliamentary elections.

In 2012, Fraser joined Reigate & Banstead Conservatives, he ran the 2012 Borough Council campaign and was one of the few Councils to make gains that year, against the national trend. Fraser then moved to Chippenham in 2013, helping to establish the campaign team for Michelle Donelan before returning to Nottinghamshire.

In 2014, Fraser joined Suffolk Coastal Conservatives and managed both the Parliamentary, District and Town council campaigns across the Constituency. Working with Dr Therese Coffey MP, he was able to double the Conservative majority from 9k to 18k in 2015. He also achieved the biggest majority on the Borough Council since it was formed.
