The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Thames Valley, Anthony Stansfeld, will be holding a public meeting next week in Reading (23/07).

The event will be an opportunity to meet and greet residents and deliver presentations about the role of the PCC and local policing in Reading. A representative from the Community Safety Partnership will also be in attendance to tell the public more about the work they carry out in the area.

Residentscan also ask questions and feedback any concerns they have about policing andcrime.

The meeting will take place in at the Tilehurst Methodist Church on Tuesday 23 July at 7pm.

Members of the public can also ask questions prior to the event or get involved during it by using the hash tag #AskPCC_Reading on Twitter.

Anthony Stansfeld, Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley said: “This event is a good opportunity to engage with the public further about policing and crime in their area.

“It will also be a chance for residents to ask questions or feedback any concerns.  

“It is important to me that communities are kept informed and their views are heard so I would encourage as many people to attend as possible.”

This meeting is the first of a series of public engagement events which will be held across the Thames Valley area over the next few months in each local authority area.
