In 2011 Cllr Carol Jackson-Doerge pledged that investing in our local schools would be a top priority for a Conservative run council. Carol is pleased to announce that in the region of £1.5m has been set aside for the development of St Mary’s School.
The proposal is for an additional classroom, group rooms and extension to the school hall. An assessment is currently being undertaken and there will be a public consultation about the design at an ‘Open Evening’ in March. This will enable the school, parents and neighbours to comment before a final design is prepared for a planning application.
