The Conservatives are committed to raising the standard of council housing locally.
Instead of spending £5million on repairs to Eustace Crescent, your local councillors think it would make more sense to demolish the flats and replace them with homes more suitable for families with young children.
Residents have been consulted and they have given a thumbs up to the proposals which will mean the flats being gradually vacated. Action has already started and there will be further consultation with residents on what sort of new homes will then be provided.
