New Primary School for Shinfield opening in September

Cllr UllaKarin Clark says: "When it comes to providing schools in new developments it has been our overriding principle that it is better to be ahead of demand and have a school ready too early than be in the position of having too few school places for children. We now have that demand in Shinfield."

SUCCESSFUL PROSECUTION COSTS LANDOWNER £50,000 FROM PLANNING BREACH

Wokingham Borough Council has won a long fought case against local landowner Felix Cash, who owned an unauthorised caravan site on Nine Mile Ride, with the judge ordering Mr Cash and his company to pay a combined total of more than £50,000 in March 2020.

ENHANCING FACILITIES AT CANTLEY PARK AFTER PLANS ARE APPROVED

Plans for a brand new state-of-the-art 3G artificial pitch with floodlights and refurbishment of existing pavilion to provide new changing facilities, a viewing balcony and café at Cantley Park in Wokingham were approved at a recent planning committee.
