Multi-million pound expansion of Addington School nears completion

Fantastic news that more young people in Wokingham Borough can access the best provision for those with special educational needs and disabilities. 

The £4.4million single-storey block being added to Addington School on Woodlands Avenue in Woodley is almost complete.

The Wokingham Borough Community Response has been a truly borough-wide collaboration involving the borough council, town and parish councils, voluntary groups, community organisations and charities, neighbourhoods and individual people. This Friday (31 July) will see the final food parcels delivered by the Wokingham Borough Community Response as nationally the shielding programme is paused from 1 August.

Update on my meeting with Highways England on the A329m

I had a very helpful meeting with Highways England M4 traffic manager first thing this morning, I was following up on issues reported with queues and dangerous driving on the A329m at the M4 junction following the changes made to the M4 to improve the exit onto the A329m.
