Twelve Covid vaccination sites covering the whole of Berkshire West are now up and running. This has been a phased approach starting 21 December and the final wave 6 sites went live this week
Welcome news that Conservative led Wokingham Borough Council is extending its pilot scheme to offer rapid Covid-19 tests to private nursery staff and childminders, postal workers, supermarket staff and other critical and keyworkers.
The ever tightening lockdowns increase the damage to businesses requiring social contact. They delay the start of recovery and make the loss of more small businesses and supply capacity more likely.

Many countries have imposed lockdowns and curfews. There is no sign from the international numbers that those locking down more for longer have been more successful in reducing case numbers or deaths.

Wokingham Borough Council is finalising plans to release additional funding that will support several initiatives across its Covid-19 response.
